UPDATE: you can now read my Soho Farmhouse review: find out what it’s really like!
In previous posts, I showed you the initial plans for Soho Farmhouse and the first images of what the leisure areas will look like. As part of my investigation, I also found some drawings of the barn interiors.
No surprise here in terms of the style, it’s very similar to other houses, but one can see that they’re trying to keep a bit of a “farm” theme. According to their design statement submitted with the planning application:
[themify_quote]The proposed changes to the main barn maintain the agricultural style of the approved scheme. A balcony, accessed via the approved mezzanine at first floor level, will give restaurant diners the opportunity to sit outside and enjoy views over the courtyard and the pond toward the boathouse and gym.
A glazed canopy on both sides of the barn allows guests to sit outside under cover.[/themify_quote] Take a look at the images and imagine yourself having a nice meal with a glass of wine while looking at the old Mill and admiring the starry sky. Sounds good, doesn’t it?
