This blog is mostly about boutique hotels that welcome families but once in a while, you may want to go for a romantic weekend for the children. If so, a sunny escape to Spain could be a good idea and I have the perfect place for you: No 4 Benissa.
Benissa is on the Costa Blanca, between Valencia and Alicante . A small small beach surrounded by cliffs and rocks, La Fustera, is only 15 minutes awaywith great beach restaurants.
The b&B itself is a beautiful old Spanish Palace sympathetically turned into a wonderful place to stay. It has a great location in the centre of the old town, a pedestrianised area which makes it quite but also means that you can’t drive up to it.
The owners have imparted lots of charm and style into the decoration, being former designers and architects from London . They are keen to provide a great welcome and breakfast seems to be delicious.
There are 4 bedrooms and the Moroccan suite has a true romantic feel to it. With prices around the 100 Euros mark, it’s really a good find!
