We’re back in Italy today with a beautiful luxury hotel in Italy.  To tell you the truth, it is in a price range that many of us may find a bit steep but it has a beautiful setting, magnificent pool so I thought it was worth featuring here in case you are preparing for a special occasion trip.

Set on a hill overlooking Val d’Orcia, Castello Di Velona is a restored 10th-century castle. It features a Tuscan restaurant and a free spa center. The spa has both an indoor and outdoor pool and several turkish baths and treatment rooms.

There are family rooms with ample space for you and your kids. However, I would keep this one for a honeymoon, a wedding anniversary or a major birthday as a special couples”treat!

Have you ever caught a glimpse of "footballer's wives" ?
