There is something really cinematographic about Palazzo Daniele, a new hotel in Puglia.
The courtyards with their centry old olive trees, the frescos on the walls, the stones, the wide openings onto the countryside are the perfect scene setting not only for a movie but for a holiday of a different kind.
If you are looking for where to stay in Puglia and in particular for romantic hotels in Puglia, then you should really consider Palazzo Daniele.
Palazzo Daniele, a romantic escape in the middle of a Puglian village.
Palazzo Daniele is located in the village of Gagliano del Capo in Puglia
Palazzo Daniele was a family house for five generations. It’s now been reinvented by the same designers of the G Rough suite in Rome. The combination of minimalism design (they even removed some walls) and old walls create spectacular large rooms favouring peace and contemplation.
Like le Domaine des Etangs or Da Licenca, Palazzo Daniele blends the art of hospitality with art curation. There are several pieces of modern art throughout the property.
There are 9 suites of really good size. They all have views of the courtyards, local piazzetta (square), or pool.
For a family, book the Master Suites which have two bedrooms, a living room, and two bathrooms. Or go for the 200-square-meter Suite Apartment which occupies an entire wing of the palazzo and offers independent access, a private kitchen, a large living area, three bedrooms, three bathrooms, and a dining room.
Food is provided mostly at breakfast and lunch but you can request a private diner too
Breakfast is served late (until 12, yeah!) and can be enjoyed in the open-air kitchen, your room, or anywhere on the palazzo grounds.
Light lunch is available
Tapas by the pool
Dinner is prepared and served by request and can be booked for private cooking lessons.
In the summer, you can even enjoy music while having a drink in the orangery.
So enjoy a day on the beach, rest at the palazzo by the beautiful black-bottom swimming pool or go on a gastronomic adventure.
And of course, imagine that you are a bella donna in a movie!
