The Independente – Suites and Terrace
Looking for a budget hotel in Lisbon? Then this is the kind of place you dream to discover: typical, authentic, welcoming, quirky and full of charm. It’s called The Independent, Suites and Terrace and is in Lisbon.
Lisbon is really a great city and I would encourage you to read Brianna’s post on 25 tips for your first visit there.
They have both rooms like in a hotel but they also have a hostel next door with even better prices. There is a dormitory and more so perfect for groups.
But back to the hotel, lovely big rooms with French doors opening onto the city, nice bathrooms and some quirkiness everywhere;
They say they are not a hotel but a place where you can discover unknown things, recommendations, attend some live music etc..
You can also eat in one of their 2 restaurants on site and both are popular in their own right. And as they say “You’ll have access to a guest only lounge where film screenings, communal dinners and other entertaining gatherings are regularly held.”
Sounds so fun. Who wants to come with me?
