My sister sent me an email this morning saying that the choices I had given her for her road trip were great. However she also wanted to do a bit of a city stay in Bath and possibly find a place that would be at a decent budget.
So I quickly used my research skills and whipped out those 5 stylish bed and breakfast in Bath. They are all between £89 and £160 so offer a good combination of affordability without compromising on style and distance to the main attractions in Bath.
2 Crescent Gardens
- 5 bedrooms
- From £89
- Website
A taste for design in this less classically decorated house. Looking at the pictures, it feels much more like you are invited in a friend’s house than staying in a business-driven B&B. They are also very well located to the famous thermal baths.
Brindleys
- 6 rooms
- From £115
- Website
Located south of the river but only a 5 to 7 minutes walk away from the center. The B&B has been recently refurbished and offers a lovely breakfast room and a choice of 6 bedrooms with individual decorations. I love the photo of their door entrance on their site ! Makes you think that you are actually in a village.
Grays
- 12 bedrooms
- From £100
- Website
This Victorian house is actually a sister B&B to Brindleys. It’s a bit further away from the centre but as a compromise offer a parking space for your cars. They also have more rooms (12) so more chance of finding availability.
Beckfords view
- 3 bedrooms
- From £120
- website
This one is not as close to the center as others and it also is not in a old building but as a bonus, there is a big garden and availability of a car park. There are only 3 rooms as well which could make it a cosy stay.
The Roseate villa
- From £110
- Website
Very well located to access all the various sights and good areas of Bath. They have a very handy map of their location and walking distance to those tourist attractions on their website. Lovely big rooms and also a car park.
Do you know of any other stylish B&Bs in Bath ? Let me know in the comments.
