Here is a new address near Bordeaux that looks enchanting and is sure to please people who love the classic “Chateau” look in France. Linked to Les Sources de Caudalie, a renowned hotel and spa in the Bordeaux region, la Chartreuse du Château le Thil opened in August 2013.
It is more a luxurious B&B than a hotel as only breakfast will be served there. For meals, you’ll have to go to les Sources de Caudalie, only one mile away. There is an outdoor pool which will be heated during the high season.
There are 8 bedrooms and two of them can be joined to make an apartment ideal for families. The place also has some nice lounges and of course a great park.
You can also privatise la Chartreuse for a family event, which is why I am listing it in both the “b&b” and the “Rentals” categories.
