As we close 2013, i just received a neat infographic from Jetpack about my blog stats. You can view it here.
While numbers are not impressive, it’s still quite fun to see that I had visitors from 25 different countries, that the most viewed post was my review of La Coquillade in Provence (not a surprise given that it was the second post I published) and that Twitter generated the most traffic.
I have been blogging for only 3 months but have found the process highly entertaining, instructive and fun. Sure some times it’s a bit of hard work and if you want to publish frequently (my goal is to publish twice a week at a minium), you do have to push yourself. But it has become my little hobby, a way to express some creativity and a new creation in itself. I am grateful to my friends and family for their comments and honest feedback. As time goes, I hope to stick with this blog and to also get more unknown visitors.
I will soon start a series of posts about places in France (Provence, Ile de Ré, the basque country and possibly Noirmoutier) so if you are planning your summer holidays, do come back to check them.
In the meantime, I wish you a very Happy 2014 Year. May it bring you joy, happiness, a sense of fulfilment and above all good health and love.
