If you are looking where to stay in Paros and are not sure which of the various Paros hotels is for you, then look no further than my latest find! The development of stylish boutique hotels with pools in Greece is quite impressive and this latest addition doesn’t disappoint.
On the north of Paros island, close to the picturesque fishing town of Naoussa, Parilio Hotel will be opening its doors late-June on Kolympithres beach.
One of the new Paros hotels with pool
The owners, Kalia and Antonis Eliopoulos already developed Istoria in Santorini. Parilio is their fourth hotel for which they’ve tasked Athens-based Interior Design Laboratorium. At Parilio, they were inspired by the surrounding sea and rocky landscape while converting a 55-room hotel from the 1980s to a light-filled 33-suite hotel.
As in many new Greek boutique hotels, the decor is a mix of neutral white, grays, ochre, ivory, and sienna. The property also associates contemporary Greek design alongside objets d’art from leading European designers.
As a result of the renovation, the new suites are all quite big, with a minimum of 33 sq meters for the smallest of them. They welcome children and of course the bigger ones will have more space for them. Some have private pool, garden views, or private patio or terrace.
Things to do in Paros at Parilio Hotel
There is of course a lovely pool to relax by. Sporty ones can try the gym and there will be treatments in the spa. Or you could go to one of the nearest beaches such as the famed Kolimpithres Beach with its unique granite rock formations is just a short stroll away.
The restaurant is called Mr E. and serves fresh, seasonal Greek and Mediterranean cuisine inspired by the island’s natural bounty.
You could also try some of the tips of Secret Greece to discover all aspects of Paros. But I certainly will understand if you choose to relax in this beautiful place for most of the time;-)
There are so many new beautiful boutique hotels in Greece now that I think you could start doing a tour and spend easily a month trying all of them!
