La Valière live like a Bordeaux vineyard owner in a chateau rental

I don’t know you but many people around me, including my own Mr Big, dream of one day leaving the rat race and owning a vineyard in France. Well here is one place that can get you closer to that: La Valiere.

La Valiere, a b&b and chateau rental

It is a proper Bordeaux chateau in the sense that it does produce its own Chateau wine and is a building of vast proportions and grand elegance. Cleverly the owners have turned it also into a guest house or B&B which you can also rent as a whole as a family.

Spacious and bright, the house welcomes you in a large entrance facing an authentic stone staircase leading upstairs.

The house can accommodate 10 to 15 people in 5 bedrooms. 4 upstairs, all different and tastefully decorated, with private shower room that you share with others (so no en suite). To relax, you can hang around in the lounge equipped with a library or the billiard room.

You will also find a suite on the ground floor with private shower room & wc and direct access to the garden.

Relax in the countryside but get to the beach too!

Facing the house, a magnificent 15X5m swimming pool, as well as a shaded terrace with dining area and lounge, invite you to appreciate long summer days. Note that the pool is not heated.

The house offers a private concierge service to organise activities, restaurants reservations etc..

The chateau in in Medoc which is in a region called Entre deux Mers (check the map to see why). It is therefore not only close to a lot of chateau wines tasting but also beaches. Hourtin Plage is only 35 min away for instance.
