Domaine de Fontenille is a new hotel that I haven’t had the chance to feature on the blog yet. I was reminded of it when my brother asked me for some suggestions for this summer quite late in the day (May!).
By the way, make sure to read my quick guide to the best places to eat in Provence. It also gives you ideas for visits and hotel stays in Provence.
It only opened last fall and hadn’t been fully booked yet when my brother called; He was therefore very happy to find a room free for them and their young son.
Note: You can now read the full Domaine de Fontenille review.
Domaine de Fontenille was first and foremost a wine estate and reviews about their wine are good!
There are only 17 rooms yet there are two restaurants, which allow you to choose between a gastronomic menu or a more relaxed, tapas style one. The lounge looks really inviting and the gardens are beautiful.
Then if you don’t have enough relaxation by the pool, you can always get massages or a yoga lesson!
Definitely worth checking for your next break in Provence!
