Cucumbi is located at a village named Barrancão, an isolated village with only 50 habitants.  Slow life takes all its meaning here as the baker delivers bread only 3 times a week and a grocery shop pops up once a week. A small bar gather old men everyday for a beer or a chat.

Reading the description, that reminds me of my grandparents’village in France. I can still feel the sense of peace that I experienced there because of everything being just slowed down and dictated by the rythm of nature
