Time to revisit this hotel which I had written about before but there are some news!
Sublime Comporta which opened in May 2014 has been getting better and better.
The location is ideal: only 45 minutes from Lisbon, set in a lovely pine tree forest but close to the beach as well.
Rooms are spacious and many have an outdoor space while some even have fireplaces. You can swim in either the outdoor or the indoor pool and have a great meal in the restaurant .

New villas with private pools!
And now they announced that they have opened some new villas with private pool. These houses will be perfect for families as they are two, three and five bedroom cabanas. They are inspired by traditional Portuguese fishing huts – with bedrooms linked via central living quarters.
The villas have living areas, kitchen and wide spaces to enjoy the outdoors; They are fully serviced by the hotel so you can cook yourself or do nothing if you wish!
Poolside, there is everything you want: the outdoor pool in the forest is for adults only but there is a smaller pool for children by the restaurant. And of course the spa as an indoor heated pool.
