A wonderful holiday rental with heated pool for design lovers in my natal Vendee.

I loved discovering this great holiday rental in my native Vendée. If you haven’t discovered my region, I really encourage you to: it has wonderful long beaches, is very family-oriented and is affordable. Plus you can go to the Puy du Fou for some park adventures and shows.

You can check this B&B or these hotels if you want to have some service. But if you are looking for a house to rent, then this one talks of long relaxing afternoon, fun games with friends and family and generally just being “cool”!

Huge spaces and a big outdoor heated pool

This contemporary barn was designed by an architect who favoured large volumes. The living room is vast and has a very high celing (6m !), the terraces cover a total area of 200m2, and the shaded heated outdoor swimming pool is 10m long. All of this set in a field of 2. 4 hectares.

I really love the outdoor lounge with the mismatched chairs and sofas. In a nice hot night, I can imagine friends and families chatting and laughing looking at the starry sky.

Inside, the decor is a mix of modern furniture and vintage finds. Comfort is high end with new appliances and the possiblity to watch TV either on an on iMac 27 or to project it on a screen.

For families, there are games for children and adults, baby equipment and accessories for them. Older kids may love practicing their game at the ping pong table.
