Gift ideas with a French touch
Chic gift ideas for baby and mum
Ma Première Box: do you like subscription boxes? Well this is the first one that you can send a baby (or rather her mum).
Lara and Lollie: here is a neat idea, stylish necklaces that your teething baby can chew as much as he likes without damaging them!
Studio Romeo: stylish baby wrap/carriers.
Merci Maman: jewellery that you can customise and some other cute gifts.
Present ideas in fashion for mums and daughters
My Travel Dreams: Marie-Faure started as a travel blogger until she got the idea to create t-shirts with “Mamma” or “Mum of Boys” or “Mum of daughters”. They became one of the most sought after t-shirts in France. She also has some “bon voyage” accessories.
Clarence and Jude: another small online only French brand with typical Parisian-style clothes. They deliver to various countries;
Sister Design: if you are lucky enough to fly to the sun at Christmas, make sure to get yourself one of these gorgeous beach cover ups! I wear one on the photos in my post about Cap Ferret.
The Beach People: I have been drooling over their lovely beach accessories on Instagram for a while.
The French beauty products that make great gifts
Huile croisière Celadon: I got this oil in the My Little Box May delivery and love the beautiful refreshing smell. Put it under the shower and it leaves your skin all moisturised
I highly recommend LE BLANC DE CHANEL embellisseur base 30 ml teint*, it’s a sheer illuminating product that suddenly makes your complexion very radiant.
If you want to give them a true French classic, look for Huile Prodigieuse by Nuxe. It’s a dry oil that I use when I’m on holidays. Their wonderful smell is now available as a perfume*.
Beautiful notebooks for stationery addicts
The Productivity Planner*: I am a bit of a planner addict and I discovered this new way to try to be more productive. They also have a 5 minutes gratitude journal* that people rave about.
Le Carnet de Projets: a French notebook to plan your projects with a very chic navy cover and lots of methodologies to start envisioning your future.
May Designs – a US site where you can create your own personalised notebook. For lovers of stationery like me!
Moo*: how about creating a customised notebook where they can record their travel discoveries? Personal and practical!
Gift idea for mindfulness fans
The 52 Lists project* – lists prompt for each week of the year that allows you to reflect on your life and be more mindful (the buzzword of the year!)
Decorate your home like a boutique hotel
Soho Home: and if you want to recreate the look of the Soho House group hotels which you can check in my Soho Farmhouse review, look no further than their new website with pieces from their hotels.
Dyptique mini candles: the smell of Dyptique candles is like no other. Give the mini version so that your stylish traveler can enjoy the smell anywhere they lay their hat.
Gift vouchers for stylish hotels
The Pig hotels: they are hard to book so tell your friends or loved ones to book early and give them some vouchers towards their stay.
Mr and Mrs Smith: we love their selection and have used several times to book a stay. Again, they have a selection of gift vouchers to choose from or you could offer a membership too.
Do you have other ideas? Or something you really want? Help others by listing your great finds in the comments.
I love Moo! They have the best branding and marketing, as well as products and customer service!
