I know that some of my readers don’t always want hotels with pools or are just looking for an easy stay on a roadtrip for instance so there’s plenty for them to choose from in the newsletter and the app.

A brand new luxury waterside resort in a sheltered bay on the island of Hvar. The building is very modern but the 50 rooms with sea view have a chic and warm design. The beach is pebbles but there are two pools to enjoy. It’s well suited for families with a kids’ club, family rooms or interconnecting rooms and three villas. You have to check the pictures of this one as the architecture is quite something. Set on the picture-perfect Croatian island of Dugi Otok, this five-star hotel is built within the hills across almost ten acres of organic olive groves connected to the main building via a series of private terraces. The hotel comprises eight individually furnished and decorated units with terraces. There is a 75-foot outdoor, saltwater infinity pool, a spa, and two restaurants. Only kids above 12 years old. The Domaines de Fontenille do it again and, after Les Hortensias, in Hossegor, where my brother lives, they have renovated a golf hotel now called 70 hectares.  It’s a 4-star hotel and restaurant in Seignosse on a beautiful estate overlooking the rolling lawns of the Golf de Seignosse. There is also an outdoor pool. From 150 euros.
