I have another new opening for you today.  It’s in the favourite outpost of busy Londoners, the Costwolds, and it’s linked to the very popular Dormy House and Foxhill Manor. I really want to check both of them and now there is a new one, the Fish Hotel.

It opens in June and is at a more affordable price tag than its sister properties as rooms start at only £125 per night including a hearty full English breakfast.

The 47 bedrooms are spread throughout three freshly refurbished buildings – The Farmhouse, The Outhouse and The Stables.  I just love that bath below, don’t you?

Food seems to be a focus for them and they apparently will have the concept of a “gastro buffet”. Sounds right up my alley.

So here you go, a brand new stylish, confy and appealing boutique hotel just about 2 h from London . I know where I’ll spend my next easy weekend break, and you?
